Here is an 8 ½-minute short film for the Fourth of July.
In “Old Glory,” Porky Pig falls asleep and gets an American history lesson in his dreams.
This 1939 Warner Bros. cartoon was directed by Chuck Jones and produced by Leon Schlesinger.
YouTube has the film in four parts:
Part 1,
Part 2,
Part 3,
Part 4.

Cheers, I'll give this one a view!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it. It took me back to my childhood when I saw all the WB and Disney cartoons on TV.
DeleteElgin, YouTube is a treasure trove for old cartoons. I watch them regularly. I remember Porky Pig as well as Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck, and the others.
ReplyDeletePrashant - You are right about the great collection on YouTube. I think my whole childhood is stored there.
DeleteCreo que primera vez que vi esta caricatura antigua, interesante pero eso sí, una super propaganda de los "valores" americanos. Justo antes de LA II Guerra Mundial.
